Easters

Whew! What a great weekend we had up in Lyman-town! I'll have to get pictures off of Tiff's camera to share, I forgot my camera...again...my memory is failing me! It was the Lyman High School alumni tournament on Friday and Saturday so we watched a lot of basketball games! It's always fun for Bradley to get together with all his buddies from HS and play-he looks forward to it all year. Thanks for the pic Amy ;)

The rest of the weekend we just relaxed and had great food and got spoiled the whole time! Sunday was great--it was Easter and my birthday this year -DOUBLE WHAMMY-and I was treated like a queen! Delicious breakfast in bed as I was showered with gifts, awesome Easter egg hunt with my amazing daughter and family, church was fabulous, Easter dinner was amazing--Gwen made Turkey and Ham--my favorite! Then we relaxed for a while and had Gwen's famous Chocolate Roll that I love with all my heart and soul, watched The Blind Side and came home! Bradley was so sweet to me all weekend and especially last night, and Jada is an angel. Needless to say it was a great weekend. I got a Kindle from my mom also, which ROCKS! I played on it the whole time in the car...if anyone is thinking of getting one I think you totally should! The screen is great, it looks like you are looking at a book--very cool.

Bradley has been interviewing for various jobs and nothing has worked out for one reason or another. There are so many teachers looking for jobs right now, it's been pretty stressful and frustrating.
We've been thinking about it a lot and have decided that unless some great job opens up this summer we will just stay here at the jobs we have right now and try to buy a home in the area. We love the area up here and we are right in the middle of our families, we both have great jobs with great benefits, and we love our daycare provider. Plus, we would make more money than if B was a teacher. (!?!?) So....that's our story. We shall see!!

So glad you had a great weekend. It's only fitting to be treated like a queen on your birthday :)

I'm so glad Bradley read what I wrote in your card and took it to heart! That makes me happy.

I'm also glad you're staying here. That's a good idea.
