We went to STG last weekend and these are the only 3 pictures I took. I could kick myself. But let's actually not even get into that.
I don't know what was so different but this was one of the best trips to STG that we have made. We had such a great time over the long weekend, I am very glad we decided to go. I spent the whole day Sat. with my mom, which is always so great, and then Sunday she had our whole family over for a mexican fiesta that was fabulous. Homemade tortillas, Pork Chile Verde, Carne Asada, Pico, salsa, stuffed jalapenos....everything homemade and soooo dang good. And it was great to spend time talking with all my family. I miss them so much! I really wish I would've taken advantage of when I lived there and went to see them all every day. What was I thinking? Jada was so well behaved while we were there too. She slept good, she ate good, she was happy every day, and she had a blast playing with her uncles and Gma & Gpa. She also did great on the ride down and back which can be crazy. She's definitely been deep into terrible-two land for the past few months, and usually it gets worse when she's off her usual schedule, so it was nice to have that time and have her do so great.
Well, Bradley's last day of student teaching is supp'd to be April 4th, so just over a month to go and then he will graduate. We are hoping right around that time to have a job offer for him and know where we are going to be this August, but potentially we could not know until late in the summer, if he even gets an offer. It's definitely not my favorite thing to know that a huge life changing event is coming up soon but to not know any of the details. We have so many big plans for this year and I can't wait to see how everything plays out (This made me think of this maternity shirt that my mom gave me that says "We plan, God laughs" on the tummy). Very exciting! Also very scary. I feel like it's all we talk about now a days...imagining different scenarios and what it would be like to live in the places we have applied. It'll be interesting too if Bradley got a job right around here and we ended up staying. Oh, the possibilities!! I'm just hoping that wherever we go we can easily drive to STG/Lyman in one day and not have to fly. We shall see!
Jada has been sick yesterday and today, so I've been staying home with her. She's napping right now and it's nice to get some things done and get a blog post in.
Here's a cute picture of J sharing some "emmy's" with G'pa Chad. She sure loves her Grandpas!
